Flights depart from the picturesque village of Kendal and fly over Windermere and Bowness. The scenery is breath-taking! As the helicopter climbs to over 3000ft you will see the beautiful valley town of Grasmere (where the world-famous gingerbread comes from) and spectacular slopes of Helvellyn; then flying onto Keswick, Skiddaw, Blencathra and the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Turning back to the South, the helicopter will fly by Ullswater to the summit of High Street (weather permitting). Then, having followed the Kirkstone Pass and descended towards Windermere, the aircraft lands back at the Watermill Inn where a lemonade or something stronger awaits your triumphant return.
