The Tiger Moth is such a romantic way to fly, this 15 minute flying lesson will take you back to a time when plane food and cabin staff were not part of your flight but having the wind in your hair and the sun on your face was.
Your experience will begin with a full briefing on safety and to help you understand the workings of the plane. Then it's time to taxi to the runway and take off for your 15 minute flight of pure enjoyment. Using the planes dual controls you will be given the chance to take hold of the controls and feel what it's like to fly such a machine.
Flights from Duxford will include free entry to the museum and half price entry for guests (Usual price £16).

Your flight will last around 15 minutes but you'll be at the activity centre for around 1 hour.

The maximum weight is 16 stone and maximum height is 6ft 4. You must be fit without no heart problems and agile as embarking and disembarking is quite difficult and requires flexibility. This may not be suitable for pregnant women.
To take part in this activity you must be a minimum of 18 years old.
No previous experience or qualifications are required.

This experience runs on selected Monday to Sunday dates, all year but mainly May to September.

We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

You're welcome to bring family and friends along to watch you take to the sky.
