Your time in the factory will include a self-guided tour, where you will learn about Josiah Wedgwood and his company's history, view some rare museum pieces and get to watch the skilled crafters at work. You will also enjoy a 2 course lunch (served on Wedgwood china of course!). After lunch it's then time for some hands on fun! With the help of a master craftsperson you'll have the chance to throw a pot or paint a plate - you choose which. Once finished, Wedgwood will fire your pot and post it home to you. At the end of your trip you will receive two pieces of Wedgewood jewellery (worth £50), a privilege card for future admissions and a 10% shopping discount on the day.

You are welcome to stay until the centre closes at 5pm.

Group Size: Numbers on the day will vary as the centre is also open to the public.

Your tour lasts a minimum of 2 hours.

There are no fitness requirements for this activity.
Under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.

This experience is available on selected midweek days and weekends, throughout the year.

We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

Spectators cant join in the classroom, but they can pay to enter the visitor centre.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
