Your WWII flying adventure begins with a pre-flight briefing to familiarise yourself with the controls of this historic aircraft. You'll then be kitted out with goggles and flying leathers before taking your seat behind the instructor and taxiing onto the runway. Your experienced instructor pilot will then take you up into the skies for an amazing flight, during which you'll have the chance to take the controls; cruising at a speed of around 80 knots (just over 80 mph) you'll have a fantastic view of the landscape below.

Group Size: It's just you and the instructor.

Your flight will last around 20 minutes but you'll be at the activity centre for around 1 hour.

Cheltenham (Gloucester)

The maximum weight is 18 stone (114kg), the maximum height is 6ft 4" (1.93m). You must be fit without no heart problems and agile as embarking and disembarking can be difficult and requires some flexibility. This experience may not be suitable for pregnant women.
To take part in this activity you must be at least 14 years old.
No previous experience or qualifications are required to take part in this experience.

This experience runs on selected Wednesday to Sunday dates, all year but mainly April to September.

We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

You're welcome to bring family and friends along to watch you take to the sky.
