On arrival art the bridge you will be weighed and then kitted out with your harness. Then climb the 210 steps to the top of the Transporter Bridge, where you can take in the spectacular views from 160ft up in the air. Your kit will be finalised and checked before you are asked to stand on the edge ready to jump. The bungee jumpmaster will shout "3,2,1, Bungee!" and you hurtle through the air above the River Tees. A waiting speed boat will pick you up from your dangling position and take you back to shore with a huge grin, with your family and friends waiting in the viewing area. You will also receive a memento certificate.

Group Size: Although other people will be there on the day, you'll be bungee jumping by yourself.

Your experience will last around 1½ hours and your jump and kitting will be around 10 minutes.

Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge, Middlesbrough

This experience is unsuitable if you have heart conditions or high blood pressure, have previously injured your back, neck, legs, spine or eyes; have dizziness/epilepsy or are pregnant. If you are over 50 please provide a doctor's certificate.
You must be aged at least 14 years (under 18 years will require parental consent on the day before jumping).
No previous qualifications or experience are required.

This experience is available throughout the year on selected Sunday mornings.

We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

Your family and friends may ride in the bungee cage with you for an additional charge which is payable on the day - please ask for details when you arrive at the site.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
