You'll never forget your first parachute jump. After a day of intensive training it's time to put everything you've learned into practice. Once kitted up you'll climb aboard the aircraft and head off to the jump zone. On the approach you'll feel adrenaline beginning to pump through your veins and the excitement rise as your jump gets nearer and nearer. Then you slide out of the airplane door, your parachute opens above you and your leisurely 3000ft descent begins, giving you ample time to appreciate the magnificent views all around you!

Your two day course consists of the following:-
Day 1 - Learn the theory and practice the physical side, including safety regulations and the sky diving techniques necessary to leave the aircraft and make a controlled fall.
Day 2 - This is the day of your jump. You will be kitted out with a skydivers jump suit to cover your clothes, a parachute system and a radio. we recommend you wear comfortable loose clothing such as a tracksuit and trainers. No heavy boots or street shoes.

On purchasing this experience you will receive an open dated gift voucher with ten months validity.
Weight limits vary between centres ranging from 14.5 stone and 16 stone (you will be weighed on the day of the course). Some centres do not accept participants over the age of 55. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a signed letter of consent from a parent/guardian which must be presented before any training commences.
Important Fitness/Medical Notes:
When your booking is confirmed you will be sent a Declaration of Fitness to Parachute which must be completed and signed before training can commence.
The minimum age for sport parachuting is 16 years.
Anyone aged 40 or over must obtain approval in writing from their Doctor on the Declaration of Fitness to Parachute form.
You must also proivide a ’Declaration of Fitness to Parachute' if you any of the following apply to you: Previous fractures, back strain, arthritis and severe joint sprains. Chronic bronchitis, Asthma, Rheumatic fever, Pneumothorax, Liver or kidney disease, Thyroid, adrenal or other glandular disorder. Chronic ear or sinus disease or any condition which requires the regular use of drugs. Anaemia or have recently donated blood.
No person aged 50 or over will normally be accepted for novice parachute training unless the candidate has previous experience or is of a demonstrably high standard of fitness.
You cannot undertake parachute training if you have ever suffered from any of the following medical conditions, unless you and your Doctor have obtained the prior approval of the Medical Advisor to the British Parachute Association (who may be contacted via the address on the’Declaration of Fitness’ form which is available from us):
Epilepsy, fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction.
Customer wishing to go to the venue in Nottingham will need to pay a compulsory BPA membership fee of up to £25 on the day of their experience .
