It’s chocks away in a Cessna 172 plane for this truly awesome flight over Stratford Upon Avon’s famous sights. A CAA qualified commercial pilot will be at the controls as you take in the breathtaking views across the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the River Avon, Stratford Racecourse, Holy Trinity Church, and other well-known landmarks, before coming back down to land at the airfield. This experience, though, is set to leave you on a massive high for a long time afterwards!

Once you’ve been welcomed at the venue, there’ll be a quick weigh-in for all passengers, to give an accurate weight for the flight planning calculations. Then you’ll be checked in, allocated a seat, and given your boarding pass. After a safety briefing, you’ll be escorted to the plane, all ready to belt up and take off!

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months, for two people. Your flight is in a Cessna 172 airscraft, lasting for 20 minutes. Once your booking has been made you are bound by the supplier's terms and conditions. Flights take place on selected weekends and weekdays throughout the year (mainly April to October). You cannot fly if pregnant, have recently undergone surgery, have a serious medical condition or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The minimum age is 6 years; minimum height is 1m; maximum weight 18 stone. Under 16's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a valid voucher for the same flight. You will be at the venue for one hour including the flight. No baggage is permitted in the aircraft. The flight duration and route are subject to change and are approximate. Flights can be cancelled at the last minute due to bad weather, in which case they will be rescheduled. Please contact the supplier to confirm weather conditions are suitable for the flight before setting off. Up to three passengers are allowed on each flight, and spectators are more than welcome to use the viewing area to watch you go up, up and away.
