40 Minute Warbird Flight - £632
Spend 40 unforgetable minutes in the cockpit of a North American T-6 Texan warbird. During this time gaze wonderingly as the sights below whiz by and marvel at the speed and agility of this ex-military trainer plane. If you're feeling brave enough why not try a loop and a roll to see what this warbird can really do!
Kick starting the experience with a 30 minute pre-flight safety briefing you will meet your pilot who will then take you out for a walk around the plane answering any questions you have. When you're ready you will then be strapped into your seat behind the pilot ready for take off. During this amazing 40 minute flight you will have the chance to take hold of the controls for up to 75% of the flight! Your pilot may even put the plane through a few manouvers such as loops and roll just to show what this warbird is capable of. If this isn't to your taste then you can just have an easy flight enjoying the sights. Once completed you will have a 20 minute debrief and be given a flight certificate and log book to show to all your friends and family.
Kent (South East) or Northamptonshire (Midlands)
When purchasing this flight you will be sent a voucher valid for 10 months. You are then able to call the flight operator directly to book your flight. All flights are generally conducted throughout the year. Please book a minimum of six weeks in advance to avoid any disappointment. You will be given a phone number to call before your flight to check the weather forecast. If the forecast isn't suitable, the Warbird flight can re-made for no extra charge. Maximum weight is 20 stone. Minimum age is 18 years. Minimum height is 5’, maximum height is 6’4’’. Good health and a reasonable fitness is required before undertaking a Warbird flight. Medical fitness is your own responsibility. If you are pregnant or are an epilepsy sufferer you should not participate. Voucher holders must be agile enough to scale the aircraft when getting in and out although steps can be provided.
