What does the activity include ?

Go back to an era when the North American T-6 Texan planes were seen over the skies of Britain whilst training our men for battle in World War II. Get the chance to see and feel what these brave men had to learn in the cockpit of these amazing aircrafts.

Starting off with a 30 minute safety briefing you wil then be given the chance to have a look around the plane with your pilot before getting strapped and taking off! Sitting behind the pilot for your 25 minute flight you will have the chance to fly the dual controlled plane for up to 75% of your airtime, you will also get to put the plane through a loop and roll but only if you're feeling brave enough! Ending with a 20 minute debrief you will be presented with a log book and flight certificate.

What else do I need to know ?

Once this experience has been purchased you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. You can then contact the flight operator to book your flight. Flights happen all year round. You should please book at least six weeks in advance. You will be given a phone number to call before setting off on your journey to check if the weather forecast is suitable for your flight. If the weather isn't good, then Warbird flight can be re-booked at no extra charge. Minimum height is 5ft, the maximum height is 6ft 4ins. Minimum age is 18 years. Maximum weight is 20 stone. Good health is required to take part in any Warbird flight. If you are pregnant or suffer from epilepsy you cannot participate. Medical fitness is the voucher holders own responsibility. A good level of mobility is required to help scale the aircraft when getting in and out but steps can be provided for your safety and comfort.
