Enjoy this 20 minute flight in a vintage North American T-6 Texan plane. These were used during WWII to help train and prepare the British pilots for air combat and now it's your chance to have a fly in one of these memorable aeroplanes.

Your experience starts with a welcome and briefing session lasting around 30 minutes. Here you will be prepared for the flight and familiarised with the aircraft. Then you'll have the chance to ‘walk round’ the Warbird with your instructor. You'll then be strapped in behind the instructor where you can help with the pre-flight checks and taxiing. Then you're ready for take-off.
Whilst airbourne you will be given the opportunity to take over the controls under the instruction of your tutor. You will get to handle to controls for up to 75% of the time if you wish and if you're feeling brave enough you may also get the chance to try out a roll and loop! If you fancy an easier flight then just sit back, relax and watch the world go by beneath you. Once back on land you will have a 20 minute debrief session and the presentation of certificates and logbook.

Kent (South East) or Northamptonshire (Midlands)

On purchasing this flight you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. Dates can then be booked directly with the flight operator. Flights run all year round but it is recommended that you book at least 6 weeks in advance to help avoid disappointment. You will have a weather line to call before setting out for your flight to check if the weather forecast is suitable for your Warbird flight. If the forecast is unsuitable, then the Warbird Experience flight can be re-schedualed for no extra charge. The minimum age is 18. Minimum height is 5’, maximum height is 6’4’’. The maximum weight is 20 stone. Good health is required to take part in this flight. Pregnant women or sufferers of epilepsy cannot participate. Your own fitness is your own responsibility. A reasonable level of agility is required in order to get in and out of the aircraft, steps can be provided for your own safety.
