After receiving a safety briefing you will take to the controls of three magnificent military vehicles, before getting to observe one side show. Depending on which is available, this could be a look at the weapons inside the armoury or a SAS woodland patrol experience. Participants will drive a 432 Personnel Carrier, a Russian Gvozdika tank and either a Humvee (as shown in the film Black Hawk Down) or Lance Missile Carrier. At the end of the experience, the best driver on the day has the opportunity to crush a car with a 56 ton Chieftain tank! Kitted out in a helmet and camouflage suit, you’ll enjoy four hours of army fun!

This tank driving experience includes: Safety and vehicle briefing, driving three massive military vehicles, full military uniform you can take home, a ride in a 432 and Hagglund and one side show (side shows include: SAS woodland patrol, weaponry in the armoury or an 18th flintlock century musket and mortar demonstration). The best driver then gets to crush a car in a 56 ton Chieftain Tank!

Brackley, Northamptonshire

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. The minimum age is 12 years, with a minimum height of 5ft 0". A driver's licence is not required, but participants should be reasonably fit to take part. The experience will last around 4 hours, running on selected dates in May, June and September from either 9:00am to 1:00pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Up to 30 people will be participating in the activity. Spectators are welcome (minimum age 7 years) at an additional cost of £15 each (this fee includes includes two vehicle rides and is payable on the day). If you are planning to bring spectators please advise the supplier in advance. We recommend bringing gloves and wellies as it can get very muddy!
