The awesome Middlesborough Transporter Bridge was constructed in 1911 and spans the Tees, serving as a monumental reminder of the industrial heritage of the area. The tallest of its kind in the world, its towering frame has appeared in Billy Elliott, the Fast Show and Auf Wiedersehen Pet. Now you have the rare opportunity to leap from this bridge towards the warm and blue waters of the Tees and experience something few others would have the mettle to even try!

You will be required to complete a membership form on arrival at the venue before receiving a full safety briefing being weighed to make sure the correct bungee rope is used, please note that the maximum weight is 120kg. After being securely attached to the rope you will be taken up to the top of the bridge. Please note that hard contact lenses and glasses cannot be worn. Customers are advised to dress according to the weather conditions on the day as there may be no shelter at the venue. Photos and DVDs of your experience, along with other merchandise, may be purchased on the day.

Middlesbrough

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. You will not be permitted to jump if you are pregnant or suffer from any of the following conditions: heart condition, high blood pressure, dizziness, asthma, epilepsy, neurological conditions, diabetes. You will also not be allowed to jump if you weigh over 120kg. Participants suffering from any of the following should seek medical advice before jumping and provide a certificate: damage to back, ankles, neck or eyes. Please advise the supplier if you are taking any medication. Minimum age for participants is 14 years. Under 16s require parental or guardian permission. Participants aged over 50 must present a doctor's certificate in order to jump. Participants must abide by the Club's terms and conditions. If a doctor's certificate is presented on the day you will be required to sign a non standard waiver.
