What does the activity include ?

Imagine standing in semi-darkness with whirling spotlights picking out the breathtaking structure of Magna and its' Face of Steel, standing roughly the same height as Nelson’s Column at 150ft! Your first job is to climb the 143 steps to the jump zone while thumping music blasts from a wall of speakers, the air fills with dry ice and seven vast video screens show images of the experience that awaits you. Once you reach the top there's only one thing left to do... hurl yourself into the darkness that is the Abyss!

The Abyss@Magna is situated one mile from Junction 34 on the M1. It is essential to pre-book a date for this experience. Participants will be required to complete a membership form on arrival at the venue before receiving a full safety briefing and being weighed to make sure the correct bungee rope length is used. Then it's time to head towards the top of the platform - and leaping off! Hard contact lenses and glasses cannot be worn when bungee jumping. Photos of your jump and other merchandise will be available for purchase on the day. The maximum weight is 120kg.

What else do I need to know ?

Customers ordering this activity will receive a voucher valid for ten months. This experience is available throughout the year. You will not be able to jump if you suffer from the following conditions or are pregnant: high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, heart condition, dizziness, diabetes, neurological conditions. Participants should seek medical advice and a certificate before jumping if they suffer from any of the following: damage to ankles, back, neck or eyes. Please advise the supplier if you are taking any medication.
The maximum weight is 120kg, the minimum age for jumping is 14. Participants who are aged under 16 years require parental or guardian permission to jump. Participants aged over 50 will be required to present a doctor's certificate in order to jump. If a doctor's certificate is presented on the day you will be required to sign a non standard waiver.
