What happens on the day?

Head to Lee Valley and take in the magnificent white water rafting venue which was used for the sport during the London 2012 Olympics. Offering fantastic facilities including two world class white water rafting courses and a licensed cafe bar.

Home to the Team GB canoe squad, there is no better place to learn the art of rafting. Take on the grade 4 rapids alongside your rafting team and under the watchful eye of your raft guide. If you do happen to fall into the rapids, have no fear as there will be the bank safety team standing by to help you out of the water and back into the raft.

Before actually hitting the rapids you and your team will take part in an activity assessment where you will learn all the required techniques for rafting such as how to paddle correctly as well as how to protect yourself when in moving water. With experienced instructors guiding you, you can expect a day full of speed, water and laughter!
