Wakeboarding has all the fun and excitement of snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding combined in one extreme watersport activity. These boards are so light and manoeuvrable you won’t even need waves to pull some serious wakeboarding air! Ride at high speed over the surface of the water towed by a cable and learn to glide, turn, pull air and skim across the water with your board firmly beneath your feet! This sport is fun and easy and you don’t need any previous wakeboard or kneeboard experience. With experts instructors on hand, you’ll progress quickly through the practical lessons and gain wakeboarding confidence.

Arrive 30 minutes before start time. You’ll receive a full safety briefing, get kitted out in a suit with your board and head for the water. The first lesson is in kneeboarding with wakeboarding in a standing position following closely afterwards. Groups are of only 6-8 people, so you get maximum instructor attention on this course.

• There is no minimum or maximum height but the max weight is 20 stone.
• Minimum Age is 9 (under 18s need parental/guardian consent).
• You should be in reasonable health and a confident swimmer.
• The season runs from March to October.
• If you have any disability or illness that may prevent you from taking part you must discuss this with the wakeboarding centre before booking.
• Spectators are welcomed at no extra charge.
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue so please check before making your booking.
