Where you can get wet and wild
Water sports experiences are available in different locations, covering all corners of the UK. So you can go scuba diving in Scotland, shark diving in the north-west of England, or kayaking in Cornwall. Check the individual packages for the location before booking.
Available Thrills and Spills
White water tubing is an experience that everyone can enjoy. There are two packages available and anyone over the age of eight can take part. Hold on as you swirl down the course in an inflatable ring. No prior experience is necessary for this watery adrenaline thrill, although please be aware that white water tubing is only available in the Midlands.
There are also a number of scuba diving packages available, and these include experiences for one or two people. The scuba diving packages all take place under supervision, with qualified instructors who will teach you the basics before allowing you into the water. So don that wetsuit and marvel at the wonderful world of water. Courses are available in the Midlands, Scotland and the south-east of England.
Maybe you'd like to learn how to take on the wild waves with a surfing experience. Full day packages will enable you to enjoy the thrill of riding the waves. All surfing experiences have expert instruction, and the chance to try out the moves you have learnt, as you tackle the unpredictability of the ocean. Surfing days are available from March through to December in Cornwall and Wales.
For the serious water sports enthusiast, the Jet Ski Experience enables you to race across the water at high speeds. You'll need your wits about you with this thrilling ride, as it is essential to concentrate on your balance to remain on your vehicle. This package is available in the south-east of England.
Wakeboarding is an experience that you are never likely to forget, as you are pulled along the water at high speeds. Half-day and full-day experiences are available and both include expert tuition. Waterskiing is available in Milton Keynes or Gloucestershire.
For those that like stunning scenery, and aquatic wildlife, the full-day kayaking experience is sure to provide you with the perfect cocktail. Besides the impressive views, you'll get to enjoy paddling through currents and waves as you take to the open seas. With experts alongside you throughout, this experience will be both relaxing and hair-raising. Do consider, however, that this experience takes place in Devon or Cornwall, so may require an overnight stay beforehand.
Do you want a wet, wild ride that you'll never forget? Then the white water rafting experience may just be the one for you. Climb aboard your raft and zoom at high speeds down some of the most challenging courses in the UK. All safety equipment and tuition is provided. The white water rafting experience is available in a number of locations, so choose the one that you think will be most challenging for you.
If you like the water, but fancy something a little bit more daring, then how about coming face to face with a shark? You can do this by visiting the Blue Planet Aquarium on the Wirral. You will be given some safety instructions, and then you will get into the scuba gear and shown the best way to dive. Next, you will find yourself submerged in the water with a number of sharks and fish within inches of your face! You'll get to swim with the Lemon Shark and the Sand Tiger Shark before coming back to the surface. All participants will receive a certificate to remind them of the hair-raising experience. Restrictions
Restrictions vary depending on the package that is chosen. Some itineraries are suitable for children, whilst some are a little too dangerous for non-adults. Please bear this in mind as there are a number of differing height and weight restrictions in place for each of the experiences. Certain types of clothing must be worn for some of the packages, and most of the days require a decent level of fitness. Check the individual restrictions applicable before booking.
