Take the controls of tanks and military vehicles from the enormous 55 ton Chieftain main battle to the Abbot SPG (Self-propelled Field Gun) or Russian Gvozdika tank, then there's Armoured Personnel Carriers, Ferret Scout Cars, Snowcats, Stalwarts, Bedford MJ 4X4 Troop Carriers......you name it, you can drive it!
During the session you'll drive a range of military vehicles and, depending on location, you'll also take part in a range of other activities. You will receive instruction on how to drive each of the vehicles from your instructors, some of whom are ex-army and saw active service in the Falklands and the Gulf. Participants take it in turns to drive these amazing vehicles but the aim is to keep everyone busy throughout the experience.
Hampshire
After a safety briefing you'll get to grips with a Chieftain tank (MBT 55 tons 700hp), Abbot SPG (self-propelled field gun), Armoured Personnel Carrier and riding Quad Bikes or off road vehicle depending on the weather. After a full on military experience you'll be presented with a Certificate as a momento of your day.
The site has toilets and an undercover picnic area with benches and a fire to keep you warm on those cold and wet winter days!
Bristol
At Bristol you'll drive a selection of military vehicles from an Armoured Personnel Carrier or Ferret Scout Car, to an Abbot SPG, Snowcat or Stalwart.
Leicestershire
A Russian armoured BRDM, Bedford MJ 4X4 Troop Carrier, FV432 Armoured Personnel Carrier and BV 206 Hagglunds All Terrain Vehicle make up the selection you can drive at Lutterworth in Leicestershire.
When you arrive at each of the above venues you will be split into groups and you may be required to sign an indemnity form (under 18's require a parent/guardian to sign on their behalf).
Your session will begin with a safety briefing which will then be followed by detailed training from your instructor. You will then be allowed to get behind the wheel of the vehicles yourself whilst under the watchful eye of your instructor.
Northamptonshire
The day begins with a safety briefing and introduction to the controls of the three military vehicles you will be driving, namely a Russian Gvozdika tank, a 432 Armoured Personnel Carrier and either a Humvee (as seen in the feature film Black Hawk Down) or a Lance Missile Carrier.
Other activities on the day include a side show (SAS woodland experience, armoury tour or 18th century flintlock musket and mortar demonstration). There's also a ride in a 432 Personnel Carrier and Hagglund to keep the military mayhem coming thick and fast.
You'll be given full military uniform to wear on the day which you can take away as a momento! The winner of the day gets to crush cars in the Chieftain tank, all togged up in army clothing and helmet.

"What do you buy a man who has everything"
I went on to your web site and it had loads of great ideas. I booked my husband on to a tank driving experience day near Winchester. The day was brillant, the staff were really friendly, well organised, extremely professional. As a spectator I wasnt expecting the warm welcome at all, in fact I was going to go shopping in the town (being a shopaholic that I am). But didnt have time, I took lots of pictures of Peter and the people driving tanks, Quad bike racing, eating home made cakes and listening to the comentating. Later I was pursuaded to have a ride on one of the adapted tanks so I too could experience what it felt like. Such good fun. The day went too quickly. The staff were really helpful about where to eat and stay locally - we had a fantastic weekend thanks to the team and I have recommended you to many friends in the same boat as me. My husband received a steam train day from his parents now and we are looking forward to booking that up soon too. Thank you for making our weekend so special. Regards. Rose Hiles
