Full Monty Tank Day - £235

Take the wheel of a 56 ton Chieftain tank, fire 17th century mortars and muskets, pilot an amphibious truck and much more in this day of stamina testing, nerve rattling fun!

 

What does the activity include ?
In this unbeatable army day you’ll drive 4 Military Vehicles and take part in numerous other military exercises. Feel the recoil as you fire a Flintlock Musket and cover your ears as the 17th century Mortar is fired! Be briefed on modern terrorism then compete against other recruits in the woods using SAS skills. The Full Monty overall best soldier gets to balance a 56-ton Chieftain Main Battle Tank on the roof of a car!

On purchasing this experience you will be sent a voucher valid for ten months. Your day commences at 9:00am and finishes at 6:30pm. We advise bringing clothing that you will not mind getting wet or dirty. Stout footwear, ideally boots, is essential. When required during the experience you will be provided with suitable coveralls and a safety helmet (plus goggles and gloves if necessary). Refreshments will be served throughout the day and lunch is included with this package.

What else do I need to know ?
The Full Monty offers a superlative military experience with a competitive drive from the moment you are sped away in FV432 Troop Carriers to Base Camp. You will receive a briefing and plus helmet and camouflage suit. The experienced staff are there to ensure everyone has an unforgettable experience. The minimum height is 5ft 0", with no maximum height or weight. Minimum age for participants is 12 years old. No maximum age. Spectators are charged £30.00 which includes lunch, refreshments throughout the day and a various rides. The minimum age for spectators is 7 years. The experience runs between March and October on the last Saturday of the month.
