Full Monty Tank Day - £280

Take the wheel of a 56 ton Chieftain tank, fire 17th century mortars and muskets, pilot an amphibious truck and much more in this day of stamina testing, nerve rattling fun!

Have you ever dreamed of having the opportunity to get behind the controls of some of the most impressive and powerful war machines and being trained by highly qualified SAS members? If the answer is yes then this is the experience for you. This full day of army training and exhilarating war games will leave you breathless; it will be a day of action that you will never forget.

The Full Monty Tank Day experience allows you to enjoy a wide range of activities. You will be able to experience a wide range of military exercises including how to fire a 17th century mortar and a flintlock musket. This will be styled into a competition against the other participants for extra excitement. You will also be given an in depth briefing about modern day terrorism and the methods that are used to prevent it. Finally, you will take part in an SAS skills competition in the woods, this gives you a real taste of what these highly trained individuals are capable of.

You are provided with full safety and technical training before you begin to ensure your safety during the experience. The overall winners of the days competitions get to drive the huge Chieftain Tank over the top of the top of a car.

• Your day begins when you are transported in an FV432 Armoured Personnel carrier to Base Camp where you will be fully briefed and provided with camouflage outfits and helmets.
• Min Age: 12 years (there's no upper age limit)
• Min height: 5'0" (there's no upper height limit or any weight restrictions).
• Spectators are welcome for a fee of £30.00 to include lunch, refreshments and various rides (minimum age is 7 years for spectators).
• Runs from March to October (last Saturday of every month).

Midlands: Northamptonshire (nr Brackley - Helmdon)

• Voucher valid for 10 months.
• The day starts at 9:00am and finishes at 6:30pm.
• Dress for wet and dirty conditions. Sturdy footwear/boots are essential.
• Safety helmet, overalls, goggles and gloves are provided.
• Lunch is included and refreshments are available throughout the day.
