Lotus Exige Experience at Thruxton - £230

Push the stunning Lotus Exige to its limits at the famous Thruxton race track with this fantastic driving experience!

 

What does the activity include ?
As the UK's fastest race circuit, used for Superbike and Touring Car races, Thruxton is the perfect place to experience the unbelievable Lotus Exige sports car! You’ll spend your entire experience in the Lotus, getting to know the car and track with your instructor building your confidence and giving tips on driving techniques. The Exige sports an awesome 189bhp, so you'll see your lap times tumble as you get to grips with its amazing acceleration and handling!

You’ll be greeted at Thruxton, then receive a 30 minute car and safety briefing including the vehicle’s capabilities and the track’s challenging racing lines. You then take the passenger seat for 3 instructor driven demonstration laps, then switch to the driving seat and take the wheel for seven high octane laps. Take a short break then return to the wheel of the Lotus Exige for another seven thrilling, and probably even faster, laps! One final instructor driven lap shows you just how fast these cars can go! The experience lasts for approximately 2 hours.

What else do I need to know ?
Customers purchasing this activity will be sent a gift voucher valid for 10 months. Time spent on the track is approximately one hour and five minutes, shared with one other voucher holder. Drivers must hold a valid full UK driving licence which must be shown to the supplier on the day of the experience. This experience operates only on weekdays. As you will be spending time outside please wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions, but for driving participants need to wear a long sleeved top, long trousers and narrow thin soled shoes as pedals in these cars are very close together. The minimum height for participants is 5ft 2’ and the maximum height is 6ft 4’.
