The experience was amazing. I bought this for my Dad for his 61st. After 5 minutes transit each way out of the harbour the experience was about 30 minutes of extremely fast and thrilling RIB riding, weaving around ferries, yachts and other powerboats and launching off of large wakes. Much faster and way more fun than I thought - already planning the next visit to Gunwharf to do this again! Excellent experience.

If anyone out there is a train enthusiast and is interested in the history of trains and how they have changed over the years, then this is the ideal package for you. This location has a large amount of track that you can guide the impressive steam train around. You will have a fully trained professional by your side throughout the experience to ensure your safety and offer you tips on how to handle the train.

"Unbelievable!" I honestly never thought that this would be such an amazing experience! I got this voucher as a leaving present from my last job and it was a little 'tongue in cheek' really. I happened to mention that I liked the theme from Casey Jones when I was a kid and never heard the end of it. Anyway, the actual experience of doing this this took me completely by surprise, probably the most exciting and exhilarating experience I've ever had. The noise of the pistons, the feeling of speed and power, the rattling of the rail track and especially the real sense of history. This was unforgettable an I have to do it again.

"Just the thing!" Our family are so grateful to this site. We bought this experience as a present for our grandfather and he was over the moon, it has been an ambition of his to do this and I can't think of any other way we could have realised it for him. The instructor was a lovely bloke and to see the two of them chatting away about the history steam engines and trains was just fantastic. Derbyshire is a lovely part of the country too. Can't say enough about this day. If you are into the steam age you've got to do this
