What does the activity include ?
Sit back and enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of the golden age of train travel. The Cathedral Express is pulled by fabulous vintage steam engines, offering customers a relaxed, unhurried and civilised steam train journey reminiscent of a bygone era. On the outward journey you will be served a champagne breakfast or brunch and on the return there will be a four course dinner. On circular tours you will be served a four course lunch or dinner. You will also receive a souvenir DVD on the day of your experience. This steam train trip is the ideal way to visit some of England's most beautiful Cathedral cities.

The voucher will have include contact details for making your booking. Destinations vary from year to year and may include Canterbury, Salisbury, Cambridge and some circular tours. Only passengers joining the train at Salisbury may travel to Bristol or Bath. Passengers joining the train at Cambridge may travel to Norwich. Most trains depart early to mid morning, from a London station or other pick-up/drop off points outside London and return in the evening, giving you plenty of time to explore the delights your chosen city has to offer. The trains go to different destinations on different dates. Due to the exclusive nature of this product availability is limited and you are advised to make your booking early to avoid disappointment. What else do I need to know ?
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is for two people on a week day. You must follow the instructions provided in order to secure your booking. Due to the exclusive nature of this product availability is limited and you are advised to make your booking early to avoid disappointment. You are advised to have more than one destination in mind when booking as there are limited numbers of departures for some locations. You will be seated in a dining car for the entire journey. A vegetarian option is available and should be requested at time of booking. The operator reserves the right to vary the locomotives throughout the year and for operational reasons it may be necessary to change locomotives at short notice. Please note that there is a £25 supplement for a table of two payable at time of booking. Please note that this experience does not include special event trains, Christmas shopping or carol specials. Your tickets will be mailed to you five to seven days prior to departure.
