A luxury day out on an Orient Express train taking in fantastic sites across the South East. With champagne brunch and dinner this is an exclusive and classic way to travel by steam train.

 

What does the activity include ?
Relax as you enjoy a unhurried and civilised journey from the golden age of train travel. Pulled by fabulous vintage steam engines, The Cathedral Express offers passengers a train journey reminiscent of a bygone era. Guests will be served a champagne breakfast or brunch on the outward journey and receive a four course dinner their return. You will also receive a souvenir DVD on the day. This steam train trip offers the perfect opportunity to visit some of England's beautiful Cathedral cities.

The voucher will have the contact details to make your booking. Destinations are varied but include, Bath, Bristol, Canterbury, Cambridge, Exeter, Norwich, Salisbury, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick or Weymouth but upon contact with the operator they may be able to offer other destinations. Most trains depart early to mid morning, from a London station or from other pick-up/drop off points outside London and return in the evening, giving you plenty of time to explore the delights your chosen city has to offer. The trains go to different destinations on different dates, and the operator will give you a list of their yearly schedule upon request. On the outward journey you will be served a champagne breakfast or brunch and on the return there will be a four course dinner.

All trains depart from stations in the south of England to varied destinations.

What else do I need to know ?
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is for one person. You must follow the instructions provided to secure your booking. It is recommended that you book early as dates are limited. You will be seated in a dining car for the entire journey. A vegetarian meal is available and should be requested at time of booking. You will also receive a souvenir DVD on the day of your experience. The operator reserves the right to vary the locomotives throughout the year and for operational reasons it may be necessary to change locomotives at short notice. Please note that this experience does not include special events, the Christmas shopping or carol trips. Please note that your tickets will be mailed to you five to seven days prior to departure.
