You’ll be taken out into the Bristol Channel in a fishing boat by your experienced skipper, drop anchor and be issued with your rod. After this exhilarating and informative day of sea fishing fun you’ll also get to take home anything you catch!

If you want to treat a fishing loving loved one or simply want an experience to remember, then consider the Full Day Sea Fishing for One Experience; an experience day that will see you being taken out to sea to rough waters with professionals, catching some of the most sought after produce from deep and dark oceans.

The experience is held at Penarth Marina in the morning, where you'll be met by your skipper for the day and shown onto the boat. You'll be given a quick safety briefing before departing out into the Bristol Channel. After an hour's sailing, your skipper will select the perfect spot to fish in and drop anchor, so you can begin to fish in deep waters; not a chance many fisherman get!

You'll be given a rod and bait plus all the equipment you could want and even given a demo from your skipper, who will tell you some of best tips on sea fishing. Hot drinks will be served all day, but it is recommended you bring some snacks of your own to enjoy out at sea. After six hours, you'll return back to shore, carrying home any fish you have caught!

• Your trip will set sail from the Penarth Marina.
• Sail in the Chara fishing boat along the Bristol Channel for about an hour.
• Anchor down in a specially selected spot and start fishing.
• Enjoy a demo on baiting up and casting off.
• You will spend around 6 hours fishing.
• Your skipper will be on hand to show you all that you need to know.
• All equipment is included.
• Tea and coffee will be available but it is advised to bring a packed lunch.
• Pictures will be taken of anything you catch.
