Climbing and Abseiling Combo

A full day of climbing lessons on the sandstone rocks of Sussex. Spend the morning climbing and the afternoon abseiling with qualified climbing instructors to assist you.

Fancy yourself as a bit of an adventurer? If you’re after an intrepid experience where you get the chance to prove yourself then look no further; this is for those who can endure the hard work of a tough climb, and aren’t afraid of scaling the sandstone rocks of Sussex.

The session takes place outdoors, and provides real fun and exhilaration. You will get a sense of the tension, the battle against the elements and the reality of this demanding but highly rewarding experience. In a day tailored to both your ability and your aspirations, you will start off in the morning learning the basics; from knots and belaying, to safety awareness, climbing techniques, climbing etiquette and bouldering.

In the afternoon it’s off to the 33ft abseil tower, where you will learn the abseiling basics in complete safety as you’re safely roped up. The qualified instructors are on hand to make sure everything goes smoothly and safely, but also enjoyably. You’ll take part in some confidence tests and you can even try some blindfold abseiling!

On arrival you’ll meet your instructor and they will then give you a full safety briefing. The indoor wall is susceptible to damage if abseiled, so you will be driven 20 minutes away to the purpose-built abseiling tower.
