Parachute Jump

In this two day training that ends with you leaping from an aeroplane at 3,000ft you’ll learn everything you need to complete your first successful parachute jump. You’ll jump on a static line, your parachute will open automatically, then you steer yourself through the air to the landing zone on the ground. Simple, right?

Do you have the nerve to jump out of a plane at 3,000ft? There are plenty of thrill seekers around, but not many folk can say that they've taken a parachute jump.

Unlike an instinctive bungee jump, there is lots more involved in a parachute jump, with an intensive day’s training supervised by instructors from the British Parachuting Association. Full practical and theoretical training is given, but it's all down to the individual and your pain/pleasure threshold.

After getting familiar with the kit, it's time to get kitted out for real as you make the dramatic move from classroom to aircraft. As the plane takes off, the adrenaline picks up as you look in anticipation towards the door that is soon to open up on the ultimate adventure.

Nothing can prepare you for the feeling as you reach the jump zone with the plane at 3,000 feet. As you edge over, the door opens, the moment arrives and off you go, falling to earth before the parachute springs open above you.

From now on it is pure enjoyment and exhilaration; glide down taking in spectacular views all around with a priceless sense of achievement.

"Best feeling in the world"

I've always wanted to do a parachute jump and this year my wife got this for me for my birthday! I was so excited and as soon as the day came I couldn't wait to get out there. The two day training is informative and interesting and you feel like you're in good hands at all times. Its pretty nervewracking once you've got used to all the kit and have finished all the theory and are up in that plane. I was really nervous when we got up to 3000 feet but as soon as I was in the air and steering the parachute myself I'd never felt anything like it! Such a rush and I've told all my friends to give it a go!
