Parachute Jumping Experiences

Parachute jumping is a classic adrenaline activity that pushes anyone who dares try it to the limit! Facing fear, excitement, tension, apprehension and plenty of other emotions all at the same time as you prepare to make that leap of faith out of the plane.

Full training covering the practical and theoretical side is given, as well as safety education from a qualified instructor. With the training covered, it's time to leave the classroom behind to experience a timeless thrill that will satisfy your curiosity and sense of adventure.

After being kitted out in the classroom, it's time for the real thing as you head towards the aircraft and prepare for the jump zone. Feel that cocktail of emotions buzz inside you as you step inside the plane and lift off, knowing that you won't be sitting in it when it comes back to land.

As the moment arrives and as you slide over and as the door opens, the landscape below looks invitingly in on you, and then, it's off and out, the parachute springs open as you glide gracefully to the ground taking in spectacular views all around.

Static Line Parachute Jump - £239

Can you handle the personal challenge of a 3,000ft solo parachute jump? Take this two day course and find out why parachuting is such an addictive pastime.

A fun and informative course held over 2 days.
Day 1 - Spend the day learning the theory behind parachute jumping. Also there will be physical practice, including how to exit the aircraft.
Day 2 - The day of the jump! You will be kitted out in full regulation equipment including a radio and taken 3000ft into the air for your first solo jump.

Notes & Restrictions

Voucher valid for 10 months.
Min Age: 16 (under 18's require a signed letter of consent from a parent/guardian - over 40's require a doctor to complete a 'Declaration of Fitness to Parachute', all other participants may complete this themselves).
Max Weight: 14.5 stone to 16 stone (varies between locations). You will be weighed on the day.
Nottingham and Cumbria incur an additional fee of £25 for BPA membership, payable on the day.
Over 50's are not normally accepted for novice training (exceptions apply to anyone with previous experience or very high levels of fitness).
A Declaration of Fitness to Parachute is required for the following: previous fractures, arthritis, back strain, severe joint sprains, asthma, chronic bronchitis, pneumothorax, rheumatic fever, kidney or liver disease, adrenal, thyroid or other glandular disorder, chronic sinus or ear disease, any condition requiring regular use of drugs, anaemia or recently donated blood.
Without prior approval from the British Parachute Association's Medical Advisor, anyone sufferieng from the following is excluded: fits, epilepsy, severe head injury, disease of the brain or nervous system, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, heart or lung disease, high blood pressure, dislocation or recurrent weakness of any limb, mental illness, diabetes, alcohol or drug addiction.

Parachute Jump - £239

In this two day training that ends with you leaping from an aeroplane at 3,000ft you’ll learn everything you need to complete your first successful parachute jump. You’ll jump on a static line, your parachute will open automatically, then you steer yourself through the air to the landing zone on the ground. Simple, right?

Voucher valid for 9 months for one person.
Cancellation indemnity and Personal Accident insurance up to £50,000.
Course is usually split over 2 days.
Minimum age is 16 and maximum age is 50 for this experience.
You will do ground training first before going up 3,000ft and leaping from an aeroplane.
