Bodyflying / Indoor Skydiving for Beginners - £49
These 120mph wind tunnels are used for testing Formula 1 racing car aerodynamics. Once you’re inside these upright versions you’ll see how they have the wind power to defy gravity! Bodyflying is a proven sport used by the skydiving community and anyone else who wants the airborne thrill of freefalling in a completely safe indoor environment. Jump in and steer yourself through the air as you experience human flight in a high-powered, man-made air stream.
You are greeted then asked to sign a statement of risk confirming you’re in a reasonable state of fitness and health (under 18’s need a parent or guardian’s signature). Your expert instructors will then train you to fly. This tutorial is a lot of fun. Then you’ll be kitted up in a helmet, goggles and flight suit and taken to the wind tunnel to experience some human air-stream flight! Following your flight, you’ll be given a DVD of the flight as well as a flight certificate signed by your instructor.

- Open Monday – Friday 16:00 – 21:00. Saturdays and Sundays 08:00 – 22:00. Closed on Christmas Day.
- Minimum age is 5 years (under 18’s need consent from parent).
- Maximum weight is 18 stone (114kgs).
- Participants should be in good health. Participants will be unable to fly if they have previously suffered from a dislocated shoulder, are wearing a hard plaster cast, if they are pregnant, or if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you have any concerns, please check before booking.
