What Your Experience Includes
Imagine a powerful wind tunnel usually used for aerodynamic testing of F1 racing cars, turn it upright, jump into the airflow and you’re bodyflying! Bodyflying facilities operate in many countries and are often used by the skydiving community and others who want to experience freefalling in a totally safe environment. Feel the joy of human flight by bodyflying in a 120mph air stream.

A statement of risk needs to be signed on arrival confirming you’re in a reasonable state of fitness and health. Bodyflyers under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian signature. Your friendly instructors will take you through all the basic training before you can fly. This session is a lot of fun. You’ll then be kitted up in a flight suit including a helmet and goggles. Then it’s into the wind tunnel to experience bodyflying first hand! After your flights, you’ll be awarded a flight certificate signed by your instructor and a DVD of your flight.

• Four flights lasting 1 minute each (that’s the same freefall time as 6 tandem skydives).
• Briefing and instructions, learning and practice freefall and body flying techniques.
• Locker hire and Gear hire are included.
• DVD showing your flights in all their glory.
• Allow around 1 hour for the entire experience.

Restrictions

• Maximum weight: 18 stone (114kgs).
• Minimum age: 5 (under 18’s require parental consent).
• There are no maximum or minimum height restrictions.
• Open 7 days a week. Monday – Friday 16:00 – 21:00, Saturdays and Sundays – 08:00 – 22:00. Closed on Christmas Day.
• Participants will be unable to fly if they are pregnant, are wearing a hard plaster cast, have previously suffered from a dislocated shoulder or are under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs. Participants should be in good general health. If you have any concerns, check before booking.
