Double Parachute Simulator Experience - £60

As the name suggests, this is like a parachute jump except from 170 feet and there's no parachute!

 

What does the activity include ?
This was so popular as part of The Awesome Foursome experience that we decided to let you try Powerfan all on its' own....twice. First you clamber up to the 143ft high jumpstation where you will be attached on your back to the mighty Powerfan. Once your harnesses and equipment have been checked you step off into the THE ABYSS and fall at 97% of gravity, feeling your heart racing before being slowed down for the final 30ft of the descent for a gentle landing back on the ground. Then it's back to the top for another go!

The venue is situated one mile from Junction 34 on the M1. It is essential to pre-book a date for this experience. You will be required to complete a membership on arrival before receiving a full safety briefing. You will also be weighed to ensure the appropriate safety precautions are in place. This voucher entitles the recipient to two descents. Merchandise and photos of you enjoying your experience may be purchased on the day.

What else do I need to know ?
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. It is essential to pre-book your jump. This activity is available throughout the year. If you are pregnant or suffer from any of the following conditions you will not be able to participate: epilepsy, high blood pressure, dizziness, heart condition, asthma, diabetes, neurological conditions. Please seek medical advice and provide a certificate before you participate if you suffer from damage to your back, neck, ankles or eyes. If you are taking any medication please inform the operator when making your booking. The minimum age for participants is 11 years. 11 to 15 year olds require parental or guardian consent. No over 50s may jump unless they have brought a doctor’s certificate. Participants will be required to sign a non standard waiver if they present a doctor’s certificate on the day. Hard contact lenses and glasses cannot be worn. Participants must abide by the club's terms and conditions.
