Truck Driving Experiences

If you've ever fancied yourself as a trucker out on the open road then these lorry driving experiences will give you a good taste of life behind the wheel.

You've seen them rumbling along motorways across the country and if you've always wondered what it would be like to drive such a large vehicle then these truck driving sessions will give you a real insight into the ways of a trucker!

With a qualified instructor next to you in the cab enjoy learning how to manoeuvre and control these monsters, all the while getting used to the large amount of gears needed for such a beast!

These aren't fast and furious driving experiences, they require more of a slow and steady hand to be able to handle the tricky manoeuvres needed to control these scarily large vehicles. It’s not easy, especially with the complicated four over four splitter gearbox, not to mention the tough skill of reversing, but it is a lot of fun regardless of skill.

Truck Driving Experience - £75

Put your driving skills to the test with this truck driving experience.

Get behind the wheel of a 480bhp DAF XF tractor unit with 55ft Racecar Transporter attached.
Professional instructor tuition.
Drive around a purpose-built track.
15 minutes at the wheel.
Certificate to commemorate your experience.
The experience will last 2 hours in total.

Notes & Restrictions

Voucher is valid for 10 months.
Participants must hold a full, valid UK drivers licence.
Min. age 17 years, min. height 5 feet.
Available from April on selected dates.
Alcohol is not allowed prior to or during the experience.
Those driving should wear soft-soled footwear or trainers.
Spectators are allowed. If spectators bring their licence, they are able do some driving at additional cost.

Juggernaut Artic Lorry Driving Experience - £115

If you've ever fancied yourself as a trucker out on the open road then this juggernaut driving experience will give you a good taste of life behind the wheel.

Experience the thrill of driving a juggernaut!
Drive a 430HP articulated lorry with box trailer attached.
Learn manoeuvres and control techniques.
Get to grips with a splitter gearbox.
Driving time is shared with one other participant, you will get 30 minutes each behind the wheel.
Allow 90 minutes for your experience.

Notes & Restrictions

Vouchers valid for 10 months.
Min. age 18 years.
Participants must present their UK or European driving licence on the day.
Min. height 5'2", max. height 6'4", max. weight 18 stone.
Participation will not be allowed for those under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Everyone at the venue should dress suitably for the weather conditions. Those driving should wear suitable driving footwear.
Spectators are welcome to watch the action. Up to 2 are allowed with no extra charge, more than 2 and there will be a small charge.
One spectator may sit in the front of the tractor unit with you. Others are welcome in the cab as long as they are able to climb in (numbers may be restricted).
