This driving experience will leave you with skills that could be life saving. Learn to steer, skid and drive at all angles in this exciting skid control lesson. Available across the UK.

In an experience best described as “going round the bend”, you will not only have a fun day’s driving and sliding around corners, but you will also learn invaluable advanced driving skills that will give any boast of being a very good driver some serious gravitas.

The day’s training and experience will teach you how to handle the car at all angles in a multitude of swerve and skid situations. The potentially lifesaving skills are taught by a fully qualified professional instructor in eight different track locations.

Your ability as a driver will be tested to the limits as you are forced to display exceptional composure, concentration and control in the process of learning and replicating. Your instructor will teach you how to overcome both over steer and under steer in the simulated loss-of-control driving scenarios, as well as the basics of how to use the throttle and prevent weight transfer.

On the day you will share your experience with two other drivers. You will be given an introductory briefing followed by in-depth car and control training before you take over the wheel. An indemnity form does need to be signed, and for under-18s this will require a parent or guardian’s signature.

Your session is normally shared with other drivers and will last 2-3 hours with around 60 minutes driving time, depending on location.

Notes and Restrictions

An indemnity form must be signed by parents or guardians of under 18's on arrival.
Participants must have a full UK or European driving licence.
Participants must be able to climb into the vehicle.
Max. weight 18 stone.
Min. height 5', max. height 6'4".
Min. age 17 years (those under 18 will need consent from a parent or guardian).
Flat driving shoes should be worn and wet weather clothing should be brought along.
Only extreme weather will affect this experience.
