The skills taught during these skid control sessions could one day help you out of a sticky situation. Icy, wet and slick driving conditions make a demanding yet fun experience.

There are many different styles of driving that you can experience but there are none more exhilarating than skidding in a controlled area. With a professional driving instructor in the passenger seat you will enjoy an exhilarating session behind the wheel of a skid car.

The car used will be sitting on top of a simulator which will put you through various extreme driving conditions such as wet, icy and oily roads. These fun sessions will be shared with others so you will have the chance to watch others handle the situations whilst enjoying the ride in the back seat.

At the end of your session you will walk away a more confident, competent driver able to handle most situations thrown at you when driving. Obviously, skidding on an actual road can be dangerous, so why not enjoy this amazing experience on a track day?

Skidding! All Angles - All Action - £99

Knowing how to skid could save your life one day – and it’s also a lot of fun! Your expert tutor will show you how to control a car in extreme conditions, along with aquaplaning and skid avoidance.

Learn advanced driving techniques for slippery conditions.
Enjoy the challenge of driving in a minimum control simulated situation.
Expert tuition throughout from a professional instructor.
30 minutes driving time.
You will share your vehicle with up to two others people.
Allow 2.5 hours in total for your experience.

Skid Control Driving Experience at Silverstone - £99

Take yourself down to the home of British racing and push yourself to the limit with this exciting driving experience. Learn the skill and art required to truly control your car.

Learn how to drive on icy, slippery and hazardous surfaces.
Tuition and tips from an expert throughout.
30 minutes behind the wheel of a Renault Megane skid car.
End with a presentation of certificates.
Allow 2 1/2 hours for your experience in total.

Notes & Restrictions

This experience voucher is valid for 10 months.
Min. age 21 years, max. age 70 years.
Once a booking has been made, it is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
This experience is not suitable for pregnant women, or people who suffer from heart conditions or epilepsy.
Should your experience be postponed due to extreme weather conditions, it will be re-booked.
Min. height 5'2", max. height 6'7".
Max. weight 18 stone.
A full UK driving licence must be presented on the day by each participant.
Cars may be subject to change.
Drivers should wear trousers and long-sleeved shirts with flat and narrow-soled shoes.
Each participant will be required to sign a form accepting liability in the event of vehicle damage through negligence.
For an extra £10, participants have the options to buy collision damage waiver.

An indemnity form must be signed by parents or guardians of under 18's on arrival.

Flat driving shoes should be worn and wet weather clothing should be brought along.
