Skid Control Session - £129

Experience the adrenaline rush of skidding and sliding, without the fear of losing control! Learn the techniques needed to have command of your car and steer your way out of trouble with this thrilling and fun experience that will leave you feeling a confident and better driver.

 

What Your Experience Includes
After a welcome you will be given an introduction to the various types of skid situations by your instructor. You will learn how to get out of them, and how to avoid getting into them in the first place. After some demonstrations, you take it in turns recovering and avoiding skids. You will usually be driving a specially modified car, which can replicate different forms of skids by electronically shifting the weight distribution of the car. You will share this experience with up to six other voucher holders depending on location.

How long does it last ?
Approximately 2 hours with 30-45 minutes behind the wheel.

Restrictions
There are no particular fitness levels required to do the course. The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone), the maximum height is 1.95m (6ft 5) and the minimum height is 1.57m (5ft 2). You may be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this activity.
A full valid manual UK or European driving licence is required, which must have been held for at least one year with no serious offences, which may need to be produced on the day.

You will receive a presentation voucher pack containing a voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), background reading on the Skid Control Session and details of how to book a date.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
