You've been on the London bus trip, you've waited your turn for the London Eye, and you’ve crossed Westminster Bridge and enjoyed the tourist bustle around Leicester Square. Now take to the skies for a different perspective of the city on board a helicopter as you take in all of the world famous landmarks. Following the River Thames across London you'll be able to pick out your favourite sights such as Tower Bridge, the Millennium Dome, Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. On a clear day from your privileged vantage point above London it's possible to see for miles - you might spot Lords Cricket ground, Wembley, the Olympic Stadium and even Heathrow Airport!

Whether it's a surprise treat for family or friends or simply to indulge yourself, you can't go wrong as you spend 30 minutes or more looking down on the fast moving city.

With three departure points to choose from, lift-off isn't far away as you survey the sights without having to keep your Oyster card topped up or wondering if you have gone a zone too far!

Notes and Restrictions

  • Voucher valid for 10 months, for one person.
  • Available most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year.
  • It is mandatory for all passengers to bring two forms of ID on the day. This is for security reasons.
  • Maximum weight 14 stone however passengers up to 17 stone can be accommodated depending on the weights of other passengers (there may be up to 5 other passengers in the helicopter which is a modern Eurocopter).
  • Minimum Age: 8 years (anyone under the age of 16 must have a paying adult on the flight with them).
  • Maximum height: 6ft 6 (minimum height is 5ft).

"I want my own helicopter!"

I loved every minute of this experience. Seeing London from the air is the only way to see the real beauty city. Looking down at the clogged up streets as we flew over so many of the major landmarks made me want to ditch my car and buy a helicopter instead! My favourite part of the journey was when we flew down by the river, seeing the Eye and the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and London Bridge from the air was incredible. I've got so many great photo's of the day, so thanks for a memorable trip!

I wondered if it would be possible for the flight to go over a certain area of our choice?

Unfortunately it would be a fixed route over London as there will also be other people in the aircraft so passengers are unable to choose where the helicopter will go.
