Drive a real rally car on real dirt and gravel, learn the art of sliding a ton of metal sideways at high speed around bends and hairpins, and then take a ride with your instructor to see how the experts do it!
What Your Experience Includes
Rally driving is completely different from any other form of driving. Imagine a sport where you are almost permanently skidding and turning at least 50 yards before each corner. There's no doubt that this activity means fast and furious excitement.
Your half day rally experience starts with an introductory briefing to explain the techniques you will be using to guide these vehicles around the rally course.
Then it's time for you to pull on a helmet and gloves and climb into a rally car for your first taste of this exhilarating sport.
During several sessions behind the wheel with your instructor by your side, you will learn the skills used by professional rally drivers to powerslide your way around the track as quickly and safely as possible, with instructions being yelled into your ear at every corner !
The finale of the day is a timed lap to test your skills and a white knuckle passenger ride with your instructor to show you how the pro's do it !! (Note: £10 charge at Saffron Walden for the passenger ride).
Group Size: Driving is on a one to one basis but the car is shared with other voucher holders on the day.
