Only this week sent off for tickets and they came through so quick, i did a download of a quick certificate so the twin boys had something for their Birthday. Well the delivery was so quick a, lovely presentation box arrived the day before the big day. This incredible single seater racing experience will put you in pole position as you get the chance to race at the legendary Silverstone circuit in a high performance Formula 1 car. Yes that’s right, you’ll be behind the wheel of a true racing machine – just like Hamilton, Button, Vettel or Alonso! This is a fantastic opportunity to get first-hand experience of what it feels like to race inches from the ground in an aerodynamic, ultra-lightweight racer at the home of British motor racing.
You’ll start your day with a driver briefing covering safety, track conditions and track techniques and get expert instruction on how to handle your car. After that you’ll soon be strapping yourself in and heading out onto the tarmac behind the F1 style safety pace car for your initial familiarisation laps. You’ll need all your powers of concentration as you get used to your car’s steering, gearbox and sheer power. And you’ll also need to learn the twists and turns of the track itself, learning where to brake and how to follow the optimum racing line.
You’ll quickly grow in confidence, and before you know it the pace car will be pulling over and you’ll be in race mode with the chance to show your skills and start to really apply the throttle. Can you keep your nerve and maintain your racing form to clock a fast time?

"Amazing F1 day out!" An amazing driving experience. I have always wanted to drive at Silverstone so when I saw this on Experience Mad I knew I had to buy it! I went along for the session with a colleague who also bought the same experience and had an amazing day. The F1 car was just as fast as I thought it would be and it was an experience in itself to be able to drive one. I was worried that the time with the pace car would be really slow but it was fast enough to get used to the car before setting of on our own. I would recommend this to any F1 fan!

How long do you race for and spend time in the car ?
You will drive for 8 minutes behind a pace car and then spend another 10 minutes driving without a pace car.
Is there an age restriction?
For this single seater experience the minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 70 years old.
