The experience was amazing. I bought this for my Dad for his 61st. After 5 minutes transit each way out of the harbour the experience was about 30 minutes of extremely fast and thrilling RIB riding, weaving around ferries, yachts and other powerboats and launching off of large wakes. Much faster and way more fun than I thought - already planning the next visit to Gunwharf to do this again! Excellent experience.

Enjoy taking a single seater around Rockingham's renowned Oval Circuit where speeds can reach up to an amazing 130mph! Your time behind the wheel definitely will not disappoint!

Rockingham is one of the UK's most famous race tracks, where you will experience single seater driving at it's very best.

After a safety briefing and a talk on circuit driving techniques, you will be strapped into the single seater and your instructor will proceed to explain about the car and what is needed from you to control the vehicle whilst travelling at high speed around the course.

Sitting just a few inches above the ground you will experience the excitement and thrill of single seater driving. Following a pace car around the track you will slowly gain confidence the more laps you do and you will find your speed picking up until you feel as if you've been driving these cars all your life.

At the end of your session you will enjoy a debrief and a certificate presentation. Keep hold of this, it's your proof that you were a racing driver for a day!

Single Seater Experience - UK’s Fastest Circuit - £110

This is a unique driving experience where you get to drive a single seater race car around the Rockingham Oval at speeds of up to 130mph!

  • Held on Rockingham's Oval Circuit.
  • Qualified ARDS instructors.
  • Safety briefing and talk on driving techniques.
  • Car used is a 115bhp single seater.
  • Drive the single seater for 20 minutes behind a pace car.
  • Certificates awarded.
  • Allow 1.5 hours for this experience.

Notes & Restrictions
  • Voucher valid for 10 months.
  • Long sleeve tops and trousers must be worn. As well as closed toe shoes (trainers or deck shoes are most suitable).
  • Min height - 5'2", Max height - 6'4", Max weight - 18st.
  • Driving licence must be held for 12 months.
  • Safety equipment will be provided if needed (crash helmets, gloves and waterproofs). This equipment must be worn, there are no exceptions.
  • Driver will need to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of any damage caused to the car through negligence.
  • You can purchase collision damage waiver for an additional fee of approx £25 per car. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this.
