Single Seater Experience - UK’s Fastest Circuit
This is a unique driving experience where you get to drive a single seater race car around the Rockingham Oval at speeds of up to 130mph!
This is your chance to get that raw Indy 500 feeling at the UK’s only racing oval at Rockingham. Oval racing is totally different from anything you’ve ever tried and this is probably the faster single seater driving experience anywhere in the UK. You’ll be lapping Rockingham’s amazing Oval circuit only inches above the ground in a single seater racing car at speeds up to and even over 130 miles per hour. You’ll get first-hand experience of the kind of G forces that only racing drivers and fighter pilots usually experience. If you feel the need for speed, then this is the experience for you!
This exhilarating experience starts with a full driver briefing from one of Rockingham’s senior ARDS qualified instructors, covering safety requirements, rules for the day, driving technique and some useful tips. Following this it’s time to get strapped in and get out onto the tarmac in your 115bhp single seat racer. You’ll get a full twenty minutes of high speed race lap time led around the circuit by your instructor in a pace car. Don’t worry, the pace will be fast! This is probably the UK’s ultimate high adrenaline speed experience so buckle up and enjoy the ride!
- Held on Rockingham's Oval Circuit.
- Qualified ARDS instructors.
- Safety briefing and talk on driving techniques.
- Car used is a 115bhp single seater.
- Drive the single seater for 20 minutes behind a pace car.
- Certificates awarded.
- Allow 1.5 hours for this experience.
Notes and Restrictions
- Voucher valid for 10 months.
- Long sleeve tops and trousers must be worn. As well as closed toe shoes (trainers or deck shoes are most suitable).
- Min height - 5'2", Max height - 6'4", Max weight - 18st.
- Driving licence must be held for 12 months.
- Safety equipment will be provided if needed (crash helmets, gloves and waterproofs). This equipment must be worn, there are no exceptions.
- Driver will need to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of any damage caused to the car through negligence.
- You can purchase collision damage waiver for an additional fee of approx £25. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this.
