Single Seater Experience - UK’s Fastest Circuit - £125

This is a unique driving experience where you get to drive a single seater race car around the Rockingham Oval at speeds of up to 130mph!

 

What does the activity include ?
Experience the rush of driving a 115bhp single seater as it was intended to be driven. Feel inline, lateral and negative G force on the astoundingly fast banks of the UK’s only Oval circuit at speeds that do justice to the track. With the right driver in the seat, these vehicles are capable of lapping at an average speed of over 130mph. You will discover sensations your body didn’t know existed! This is the fastest single seater drive in this country – nowhere else is faster.

A senior ARDS qualified instructor will brief you on car and track safety requirements, high speed driving techniques and other useful tips. Then, sitting just inches above the ground, you will grab the wheel of the 115bhp single seater vehicle and spend 20 minutes in the driving seat hurtling around the circuit (driving in groups with an instructor leading the way in a pace car). After crossing the finish line you receive a de-brief and a certificate of completion, to remind you of this unique experience. Makes a great gift!
This experience lasts approximately one and half hours.

What else do I need to know ?
Customers purchasing this experience will receive a gift voucher valid for ten months. Long trousers and long sleeve shirts must be worn along with light, closed toe shoes (ideally trainers or deck shoes). Minimum height is 5ft 2” and maximum height is 6ft 4”. Drivers must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of one year. Maximum weight is 18st. The appropriate safety equipment will be provided, for example crash helmets, waterproofs and gloves. It is compulsory to wear this equipment and there will be no exceptions under any circumstances.
