Powerboating Experiences

Say hello the Hypercat and goodbye to the shoreline as you speed off into the Solent where you'll practice wave jumping and high speed turns during a breathtaking, speedy session on the water.

• On arrival at the marina you'll be kitted out in safety gear and racing kit.
• Once on the water you'll be shown the techniques needed to drive the Hypercat.
• You'll then take the controls and head for the Solent.
• Your instructor will be encouraging along the way, helping you to gain confidence and speed.
• Your experience will last around 2 hours.

Jump aboard the Thundercat, a high-performance inflatable catamaran, which will offer you a thrilling hour on the water racing against the clock to find the Aquastig of the Year.

• Once kitted out in safety gear and racing kit you'll then hop on board the Thundercat.
• Your instructor will demonstrate to you how to handle the powerboat.
• Learn how to corner, wave jump and high speed take offs.
• Attempt an offshore circuit as you race against the clock to find the Aquastig of the Year.
• Driving will be shared with one other voucher holder, you will receive at least 30 minutes driving time each.
• You will be presented with a souvenir photo at the end of your session.
• You will spend a full hour on the water with the whole experience lasting around 2 hours.

Spend time on-board a speedy Thundercat powerboat, zipping over waves, pulling high speed turns and generally having as much fun as you can on the water.

• You will be kitted out in full waterproofs, lifejacket and helmet on arrival.
• Powerboat driving techniques will be explained when on-board the boat.
• At Southampton you'll race against the clock as you attempt to complete an offshore circuit. You will drive for at least 30 minutes.
• At Bournemouth you'll spend time one on one with your instructor, co-piloting across the water. This will last for around 20 minutes.
• At Brighton you'll enjoy high speed blasts in a Thundercat and a RIB. This will last for around 30 minutes per boat.

This experience gives you the chance to drive both a Honda Powerboat and a Hypercat so that the next time you're asked that age old question....what's your favourite powerboat.........you can answer with confidence.

• Once in your racing gear, you'll be given an introduction to the 2 boats.
• Drive both the Honda Racing Powerboat and the Hypercat.
• Spend approximately 1 hour in each boat.
• Learn how cornering, wave jumping, high speed turns and other racing techniques.
• Race against the clock on the high speed offshore circuit.

This half day experience will see you fly at top speeds across the water whilst co-piloting a micro cat and then taking your turn at the wheel of a Yamato OSY400. Fast, wet and wild, what more could you want!

• Spend time on the water piloting a Yamato OSY400 powerboat.
• Co-pilot a micro cat for an experienced driver, capable of reaching 3G's on turning.
• Refreshments and a buffet lunch are included.
• Spectators are welcome.
• Please allow 5 hours for your session.

Get behind the wheel of a powerboat for some wet and wild high speed action! This full day experience teaches you the essential boat controls then you take the wheel, power up the engine and cut a swathe across the open water!

• Voucher valid for 9 months for one person.

• Enjoy driving either a zapcat, RIB or Honda powerboat depending on location.
• You will share the boat with a small group of participants.
• Please allow 5-7 hours for your experience.

Take to the water at high speeds in this full day of powerboating.

• Drive three types of high speed single seat powerboats, a Monohull sports boat, Catamaran and Yamato OSY400 Hydroplane, all able to reach speeds of over 50mph.
• Co-pilot a race ready Microcat.
