This adrenaline-fuelled high speed journey on the Solent will put you behind the wheel of an offshore powerboat for the ride of your life! Your qualified instructor will push this powerful craft’s engine to the limit around a purpose-built offshore racing circuit. Then experience from the driving seat the pace and grace of these super fast boats.

You are first welcomed and given a full safety briefing. You’ll be kitted out with a life jacket and offshore racing jacket and then take the passenger seat in the waiting powerboat with up to three other participants. Following a short cruise down river your driver will open up the boat’s throttle and you will be skimming across the ocean waves. You’ll receive a demonstration of wave jumping, racing lines, starts and high speed cornering on water. Then get behind the wheel for 2 laps on the offshore circuit at high speed.

• Courses run from May to October on selected weekend dates
• Spectators are welcome but they may not be able to see all of the action
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue
