4x4 Driving Half Days UK Wide

Take on the rough terrain and tackle a variety of obsticles with these incredible 4x4 off road driving days. With the expert tuition of a professional instructor you will have the confidence to really push yourself and the car to its limit.

Four wheel drive vehicles were not designed for the road but yet, so many of us use them for the school run or to pick up our weekly food shop. These off road experiences will show you just how wasted these vehicles are on the UK roads.

Your session will be kick started with a safety briefing and a full explaination on the techniques needed for off road driving. Once you have been fully prepped you will be taken out to the track and introduced to the vehicle.

Jump into the driver’s seat and make sure you fasten your seatbelt, as this isn’t your run of the mill 4x4 driving experience. In this off road session you’ll tackle the steepest slopes, the muddiest gullies, the roughest ruts and probably some of the deepest water you’ve ever driven through. Your driving session will generally be shared with a few other drivers so you will have the chance to be a passenger as well as driver, this can be just as fun as actually driving the 4x4!

At the end of your experience you won't look at your 4x4 in the same light again, you'll definitely forget about popping to the shops in it, it's hills and muddy water for you from now on!

Extended 4x4 Driving Experience - £95

Tackle the tough terrain with this exhilarating off road experience, get behind the wheel and take on the challenging course including steep slops and woodland trails.

Half day 4x4 experience.
Full safety briefing.
Classroom session learning the workings of a 4x4.
Drive the 4x4 around the challenging course.
Tackle woodland trails and steep slopes.
Vehicle will be shared with up to 3 other drivers.

Take on the challenge of the Thruxton off road terrain with this exciting 4x4 experience.

Drive a Landrover Defender.
15 minute briefing to start the session.
Instructor will give you tips to help you around the course.
Learn axle articulation, approach and departure angles and much more.
Experience will last around 2 hours.
Vehicle will be shared with 2 other drivers.

4x4 Off Road Course at Knockhill - £118

Push your driving skills to the limit with this off road challenge at Knockhill.

Course starts at either 9:00 am or 12:30 pm.
Drive an Isuzu Trooper.
Course consists of a water crossing, steep slopes and sharp descents.
The driving will be shared with other participants.
You will be in the vehicle for around 2 hours.
You will drive for approximately 30 minutes each.
The entire course will laps for 2.5 hours.

Off Road Experience (UK Wide) - £139

This is a challenging day out for the four wheel drive vehicle enthusiast. You will test your nerve against a variety of obstacles, slopes and crossings in a tough 4x4 car. Expert tuition will prepare for you the track but once you’re behind the wheel it’s up to you!

Enjoy an introductory talk on 4x4 driving.
An instructor will show you how it's done in your familiarisation lap.
Take on slopes, gullies and rough off road ground during your time behind the wheel.
Experience will last around 2 hours.
Itineries will vary depending on location.
Driving time may be shared with up to 3 other drivers.

A fantastic way to learn to drive 4x4 off road vehicles across slops, ruts and muddy pools. Learn essential four wheel driving techniques on extreme terrain!

Safety briefing.
Drive the 4x4 through mud, water, ruts and various extreme terrains.

Q. Just wondering if the Crewe location allows spectators?

A. Spectators are welcome free of charge at the Crewe location.

Q. I want to purchase this for my wife but I am sure she will not be keen on doing a shared experience, is the whole experience shared or just the theory part? She would worry about someone causing an accident with her in the car.

A. With shared experiences the whole thing is shared, both theory and drive time. There will be an experienced instructor in the car at all times so no one will be able to drive inappropriately or cause an accident. If she would rather go alone you are better off getting one of the one-to-one experiences and in that instance you would be able to go in the back of the car for the entire experience.

Extended 4 x 4 Driving Experience - £159

This is an intensive, stamina-testing half day of 4x4 off-road action you will be sure to remember. Navigate obstacles and traverse steep slopes and water crossings in a hardy off-road vehicle. Learn the controls and take the wheel with an expert instructor as passenger.

Attempt hill climbing, crossing ruts, ditches and descending from heights safely.
Learn from a qualified instructor.
Take on man-made and natural obstacles.
The vehicle will be shared with 2 other drivers (3 at Lincolnshire).
You will be in the 4x4 for around 3 hours.
A certificate will help you to remember your day.

A. There are two Sussex locations available. These are located in East Grinstead and Lewes.

Q. I have held an Indian driving license for the last 30 years and I also hold an international driving licence. Would I be allowed to do this experience ?

A. As long as you have a full, manual licence which you have held for at least a year then there will not be a problem with you taking part.
