You will quickly learn observation, planning and manoeuvring in your 4x4 as you traverse steep inclines, rutted tracks and side slopes on these challenging tracks. The 4x4 driving experience is available at off-road locations across the UK. Churn through mud and hear the axles grind as you learn essential off-road driving techniques. This 4x4 course is a lot of fun but will teach you some vital skills. Your expert driving instructor will have you crossing extreme terrain with ease and you’ll regard four wheel drive cars with more respect in future.  

On arrival at your chosen 4x4 driving centre, you will be asked to sign an indemnity form. If you are under 18 you will also need parental or guardian signature. Your driving session is usually shared with other drivers. You will be given an initial car and safety briefing, followed by detailed training from an experienced instructor before being allowed to experience 4x4 driving yourself, once you are judged to be safe enough.
