Enjoy a romantic evening cruise through Oxford and its surrounding countryside. Take in the sights with a loved one whilst enjoying a gourmet picnic and bottle of wine.

What better way to take in the beautiful city of Oxford and the countryside than on a picnic cruise for two? Take in the sunset as you float down the river relaxing and enjoying a gourmet picnic.

The cruise lasts for approximately two and a half hours and takes in fabulous scenery including Osney Island, a quaint area of allotments and gardens. You will also pass through Port Meadow, a vast area of land that supports an abundance of plants and birds. The ingredients of the picnic are all sourced from local suppliers, and there are also vegetarian options available. When booking, just mention any dietary requirements and you will be catered for.

A romantic evening is the order of the day as you sail off into the sunset together while enjoying marvellous food and wine, and taking in some of the most beautiful scenery the area has to offer.

  • You will depart from Folly Bridge and travel along the Thames.
  • The cruise will take you through Oxford.
  • You will see sights such as Christchurch College, Osney Island and Port Meadow.
  • A picnic and bottle of wine are also included.
  • Your journey will last for 2.5 hours.

  • Voucher valid for 10 months.
  • Departing at 6pm (5pm in September), from 1st May - 15th September.
  • If poor weather prevents the cruise from going ahead then all measures will be taken to re-book you for another date.

"Perfect day."

I never had my husband down as a romantic so when he presented me with a voucher for this on my birthday, I was a bit surprised to say the least. I even admit to thinking there would be a catch but I needn't have. It was just perfect in a way that you would need to experience it to appreciate. peaceful, civilised, beautiful and most definitely romantic. I just had to look at this site afterwards and okay, I found out that he had been looking at motor sport experiences first but I don't mind. Well done for helping men like mine!!
