Dads 'n' Lads Military Driving for Three - £174

If you've ever wanted to know what it's like to drive a military vehicle here's your chance to drive not one but three and not only that you can also bring along 2 passengers for a ride.

 

What Your Experience Includes
Have a go at driving a Ferret which is able to travel at 50 mph in reverse, the FV432, which is a squaddies favourite and the Stalwart, designed to carry up to 5 tonnes of cargo. You can even bring along two passengers for a ride so they can share your enjoyment as you drive these strong, resilient and protective vehicles; some of which can traverse lakes and rivers!

You will be welcomed and offered tea or coffee before being allocated to a team and receiving a briefing on safety from the instructors. You'll then learn more about the history and specifications of the military machines with a tour around the vehicles. Then it's your chance to discover what they're capable of over the rough terrain of challenging course! After your driving experience there will be a debrief and certificate presentation as a momento of your day.

Group Size: There may be other drivers on the day.

How long does it last ?
Your experience will last for approximately 1 ½ hours.

Restrictions
The maximum weight is 22 stone and the maximum height is 6ft 2". Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted onto the venue.
The minimum age for this experience is 16 years.
No previous experience or qualifications are necessary.

Availability
This experience runs on selected weekends, throughout the year.

How far ahead should I book ?
We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

Are spectators allowed ?
You're welcome to bring along spectators. There is a charge of £10 (children are free under 8 years old) which includes a ride in a vehicle and refreshments.

You will receive a presentation voucher pack containing a voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), background reading on the Dads 'n' Lads Military Driving for Three and details of how to book a date.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
