What Your Experience Includes
A gyrocopter is a helicopter-airplane hybrid, also known as an autogyro or gyroplane, combining many of the benefits of both forms of air travel plus some of its own! Many consider it among the safest of aircraft, with its rotor driven by aerodynamic forces instead of an engine powered propeller. Although it shares the same basic controls as a fixed wing aeroplane - stick, rudder pedals and throttle - gyrocopters are incredibly nimble and can do manoeuvres other aircraft cannot even attempt. A gyrocopter also offers unrestricted views and flies low and slow so you can see what is happening on the ground beneath you. A unique and thrilling experience ideal for any adrenaline junkie!

Beginning with a welcome and short introduction you will then be familiarised with the aircraft and fitted with your flying suit, helmets and head set. Once strapped into the gyrocopter you will fly at approximately 800ft for around 65 minutes. If you're feeling brave enought you can take the controls to see how these unique machines handle. If not then just sit back and enjoy the amazing views below.

Group Size: It'll be just you and the pilot.

Your experience will last approximately 4 hours.

Restrictions
The maximum weight is 15 stone and the maximum height is 6ft 4".
The minimum age for this experience is 16 years old. Under 18's need accompanying by an adult.
You need to be in good general health.

Availability
This activity runs on selected Monday to Sunday dates, throughout the year.

How far ahead should I book ?
We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

Are spectators allowed ?
Up to two spectators are welcome at no additional charge, depending on the location they may attend all the briefing and discussion sessions.
