Gyrocopter Flying Lesson - 40 Minutes - £139

If you're looking to try something different and exciting then look no further, a ride in a gyrocopter will definitely tick all those boxes.

 

What Your Experience Includes
Enjoy the feel of the wind in your face as you fly through the skies in the quirky and unique gyrocopter, also known as an autogyro or gyroplane.

Offering many of the benefits of both a plane and a helicopter, plus several of its own, with a rotor driven by aerodynamic forces instead of an engine powered propeller, it is considered by many as one of the safest forms of air travel. With unrestricted views, these aircraft can hover low to the ground and are nimble enough to do manoeuvres that other aircraft can only dream of, providing you with a thrilling flying experience!

Beginning with an introduction and safety briefing you'll then be shown around the gyrocopter. Once kitted out with your head set, helmet and flying suit it's then time to take to the skies! Your flight will last approximately 40 minutes, during which time you will fly at around 800ft. You will also have the chance to take over the controls if you would like to see what it feels like to actually fly a gyrcopter yourself. If you would rather then you are free to just sit back, relax and enjoy the views below.

Group Size: It will be just you and the pilot.

How long does it last ?
Your experience will last approximately 4 hours.

Restrictions
The maximum height is 6 ft 4 ins.< The maximum height is 15 stone br/>The minimum age for this experience is 16 yrs old. All under 18's need to be accompanied by an adult.
Good general health is required to take part.

Availability
This activity runs on selected Monday to Sunday dates, throughout the year.

How far ahead should I book ?
We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

Are spectators allowed ?
Up to two spectators are welcome at no extra fee, depending on the location they may attend all the discussion and briefing sessions.
