Western Adventure Riding Day - £139

This cowboy themed day of riding will give you a taste of the Old West and the beautiful New Forest National Park from atop your trusty steed. You’ll be Yee-Ha-ing with the best of them by the end of this day of adventures.

 

What Your Experience Includes
You will become a Cowboy for the day in this fantastic horse riding experience where you will learn how to look after and ride your horse through the New Forest National Park. Experienced trail leaders are on the trail with you to get you used to the Cowfolk style, including grooming and tacking up before you ride ‘em out.

Howdy! You’ll be needing energy as you meet and groom your trusty steed and tack up your compadre for the day, so in the morning it’s bacon and egg sarnies for all potential cowhands. You’ll be with your horse for the day so don’t get on his wrong side. A riding lesson will help things along, all cow-style of course. The horses are fed hay and your own lunch will be a Western themed chicken n’ steak barbeque, then it’s Yee Ha and off into the New Forest, meeting wild ponies and herds of cattle as you blaze a trail to the woodlands. You might even spot a wild deer or two. Your horse deserves a good rub down after all his hard work and you’ll also turn him out to grass before your day is complete with a mug of coffee and heading off into the sunset. This day is open to beginners as well as the John Wayne’s among you.

• Available on selected dates throughout the year.
• Minimum age is 12 years.
• Maximum Weight is 15 stone.
• The experience is unsuitable during pregnancy. It may also be unsuitable for some with disabilities. Please check with the stables before booking. If you have any medical conditions which could affect your ability to take part in this experience you must discuss it when booking.
• The trail is not suitable for spectators but friends and family can meet for the BBQ.
• You must wear full length trousers and sturdy shoes or boots with a heel of 2 to 4cm. You must also have your shoulders covered. Please bring appropriate wet weather clothing if it looks doubtful.
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary.
