Introduction to Riding for Two - £115

This fantastic riding experience allows you and a partner to explore the beautiful New Forest on horseback. Get to know your horse then take it for a ride in some stunning scenery, learning techniques along the way. This half day’s experience makes a fantastic gift for anyone over 12.

 

What Your Experience Includes
The New Forest National Park is a historically famous hunting ground and the best way to discover the beauty of its plains and woodlands is on horseback. Beginner riders and those with experience are welcome on this horse ride.

You are greeted at the New Forest by your instructors who will provide you with a hat and give a safety briefing before your half hour mounted horse riding lesson. Once you are acquainted with your trusty steed and in control you will take a ride into the New Forest on a 1 ½ hour hack, riding over the heath and into the woodlands where you might be lucky enough to spot one of the deer herds that roam the area. A truly great day out for two people with these beautiful animals.

Restrictions

• Minimum age is 12 years old.
• There is no maximum or minimum height but the max weight is 15 stone.
• This experience takes place on selected dates throughout the year. They are mainly at weekends, in the morning, afternoon and some evenings.
• The experience is unsuitable during pregnancy. It may also be unsuitable for some disabilities. Please check with the stables before booking. If you have a medical condition which may affect your ability to participate in this experience you must discuss it when making your booking.
• This is not suitable for spectators.
• To take part you will need to wear a pair of full length trousers and some boots with a heel of approximately 2 to 4cm. Your shoulders must also be covered.
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary.
