Introduction to Riding for One - £59

This great riding experience allows you to explore the wild and beautiful New Forest on horseback. You’ll get to know your horse and ride It through some stunning scenery, with lots of wildlife to see. This half day’s riding experience is a great gift and the perfect way to get to know these fantastic animals.

 

What Your Experience Includes
Get into the saddle and explore the historic and beautiful New Forest National Park, which even today is best viewed on horseback. Even if you have no riding experience you are welcome on this educational and entertaining horse ride, ending back at the stables with a sizzling chicken and steak barbeque. You will remember this day of riding in the beautiful New Forest forever and you can always come back again!

You are welcomed at the New Forest by your qualified instructors who will give you your hat and briefing before your half hour mounted horse riding lesson. Once you are comfortable with your horse and in control you ride into the New Forest on a 1 ½ hour hack, sauntering over the heath, watching cattle and wild ponies. Then continue into the woodlands where you may see a herd of deer that call the forest home. A truly memorable day out with these beautiful animals.

Restrictions

• There is no maximum or minimum height but the max weight is 15 stone. Minimum age is 12 years.
• This experience runs mornings and afternoons mainly at weekends on selected dates through the year.
• The experience is unsuitable during pregnancy. It may also be unsuitable for some disabilities. Please check with the stables before booking. If you have a medical condition which may affect your ability to participate in this experience you must discuss it when making your booking.
• For riding you must wear full length trousers and sturdy shoes or boots with a heel of around 2 to 4cm. You must also have your shoulders covered.
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary.
