Enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful New Forest whilst riding cowboy style on your trusty steed.

Have you ever dreamed of being a cowboy or are you a big fan of westerns? If the answer is yes then this experience is perfectly tailored to make your dreams become a reality. You will be given the chance to live like a cowboy for the day as you enjoy a real cowboy trek through some of the most stunning scenery in the United Kingdom. Whether you are an experienced horse rider or you have never mounted a horse in your life, you can still enjoy this experience.

Once you arrive at this hand-picked location you will all be given a full safety briefing to ensure that you are completely safe throughout the day. Once this has been completed it is time to put your hat on, mount your horse and head off into the New Forest. There is a great deal of wildlife to look out for including cattle, wild ponies and even the odd herd of dear. It is a true cowboy experience that you will love every minute of.

When you get back to the ranch you will get the chance to dig into a delicious BBQ that has been cooked for you while you were out trekking. The BBQ is true cowboy style steaks, chicken and beans; absolutely delicious.

  • Safety briefing with your trail leaders.
  • Once mounted on your horse you will be given instruction on the correct way to control your ride.
  • Trail in the New forest amongst wild forest ponies and enjoy a trip into the woodlands.
  • Your hack will last around 2 hours.
  • On your return enjoy a BBQ of chicken, beans and steak.
  • Allow half a day for your whole experience.

Notes and Restrictions

  • Voucher valid for 9 months.
  • Minimum age is 12 years.
  • There are no height restrictions.
  • Maximum Weight is 15 stone.
  • Not suitable during pregnancy and if you suffer from certain disabilities and medical conditions.
  • Available mainly at weekends, in the morning, afternoon and some evenings.
  • Spectators cannot watch the ride but may join you for the BBQ.
  • BBQ not included between November and the end of March. 
  • Full length trousers and boots with a heel of approximately 2 - 4cm. Shoulders must be covered.
